Stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere to eat and we weren't disappointed. The service was great, the food was good. I had the fish and chips with mushy peas, absolutely lovedddd the chunky chips. Had the deliciously moorish victoria sponge cake for dessert with a chai tea latte. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. I'll definitely be back. The view from our table was tranquil

Absolutely thrilled with our experience at Wheeler's Fish and Chips in Dover! As visitors from Canada, we were eager to taste authentic English Fish and Chips, and we were not disappointed. The fish was amazingly fresh, and the chips were divine. A must-visit spot for anyone craving a taste of authentic British cuisine.

We have been touring the British Isles for two weeks and this is one of the best traditional fish and chips off the entire trip. The Mac and cheese was delicious. Lauren and Jack M were the best servers; very attentive and and helpful.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the atmosphere is because of the renovations being done on the outside of the building. But, to be honest, everything else was brilliant. I want to particularly mention the staff. They were absolutely amazing!! I could not have asked for a friendlier bunch of young people who provided the perfect service when I took my elderly mother here for lunch. Always a favourite place for a fish and chip lunch.

Visited Wheeler’s yesterday during a quick trip to Dover. Perfect fish and chips! The batter was crispy and fried just right and the fish was perfectly cooked. Staff were very helpful! All in all a great lunch on a great day in Dover! Urge you to stop by and have a great meal!

Whilst in Dover, I had heard that Wheeler’s had really good fish and chips. I was not disappointed. The fish was fresh and delicious, and the chips were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I am not a fan of mushy peas, so I left them, but the tartare sauce was lovely too. All the necessary accompaniments were in the bag with the fish and chips... vinegar, mayo, salt and pepper, tomato sauce, napkins and cutlery. I could mot have asked for more.

It’s in Starbucks but the fish and chips is cooked in the restaurant next door that’s quite fancy. Bit of a weird concept but the fish and chips was good.

After a long hiking trip across the white cliffs we decided to have lunch locally before returning to London. Naturally we wanted an authentic fish and chip place. After a Google search we settled on Wheelers. The restaurant is lovely, clean and welcoming. Parking is available directly in front of the premises. We were greeted by friendly waitresses who took our orders of Haddock & Chips. It was by far the best fish & chips I've ever tasted. The fish was perfectly cooked, not greasy just golden brown with a light crunch. The chips were hand cut with the skin on, again not greasy and cooked to perfection. The homemade tartare sauce was divine as were the mushy peas. We were hugely impressed and will definitely come back!
